In order to keep the membership informed, and pursuant to Article V, Section 1, of the Bylaws of Addition Financial Credit Union (“Addition Financial”), this Notice has been prepared and distributed to all of the members of Addition Financial eligible to vote in the 2025 Board elections (the “Members”).
Nominations for vacancies on the Board of Directors may be made by petition signed by at least two percent (2%) of the Members. The closing date for Addition Financial’s receipt of completed nominations by petition is Friday, March 6, 2026, and any nomination by petition must be timely delivered to: Samuel M. Nelson, CAO & General Counsel, at: 1000 Primera Boulevard, Lake Mary, Florida 32746.
To become a candidate through the nomination by petition process, eligible and bondable Members must request and complete all official petition forms. Any person seeking to file a nomination by petition must obtain the necessary instructions, requirements, and forms by contacting: Samuel M. The election will be held at Addition Financials’ Annual Meeting occurring Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., virtually. All Members are invited to attend the election and the Annual Meeting by registering at AdditionFi.com/AnnualMeeting. Once registered, Members will receive instructions for how to join, participate, and vote during the virtual meeting. The election will not be conducted by ballot and there will be no nominations from the floor if the total number of nominees that have been nominated either by petition or by Addition Financials’ Nominating Committee (the “Nominees”) equals the number of positions to be filled.
The Nominating Committee has unanimously endorsed Janet Bush, Gaby Ortigoni, and Ronald Person, to fill the three board seats with terms expiring in 2026.
All Addition Financial Members are invited to attend the Annual Meeting and election by registering at the link below. Once registered, Members will receive instructions for how to join, participate, and vote during the virtual meeting.
Janet Bush
Janet Bush has served on the Addition Financial Credit Union Board since 1999, following five years on the Supervisory Committee, including three as Chairperson. She currently contributes to various Committees. Mrs. Bush earned a Bachelor of Science from Rollins College and began her career in public accounting before joining Orange County Public Schools. During her 29-year tenure, she rose to become Director of Finance. Her commitment to fiscal stewardship and education aligns with the credit union’s values and strategic goals.
Gaby Ortigoni
Gaby Ortigoni joined the Addition Financial Board in 2023 and serves on various Committees. She is President of the Hispanic Economic Advancement Foundation and previously served as President and CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando and held leadership roles at Prospera. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Member Service Representative Floater at Addition Financial. Ms. Ortigoni has been honored with numerous community leadership awards and serves on multiple boards, including CareerSource Central Florida, Orlando Economic Partnership, and Heart of Florida United Way. Her commitment to community impact and economic development is a strong asset to the board.
Ronald Person
Ronald Person became a director in 2017 following five years of service on the Supervisory Committee. He currently serves as Secretary and contributes to various Committees. A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in Accounting, Mr. Person is a partner at Withum Smith & Brown, one of the nation’s largest CPA firms. With over 40 years of experience, he specializes in assurance, tax planning, business consulting, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of the AICPA and FICPA, lending deep financial expertise to Addition Financial’s board.
