Addition Financial Credit Union Announces Partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Credit union contributes $30,000 to help Daytona Beach Campus students pursue internships and other career-building opportunities
Addition Financial Credit Union announced a new partnership on September 15 with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University that will expand financial education opportunities for the university community and help students overcome financial barriers to valuable career experiences.
As part of the new collaboration, the credit union, headquartered in Lake Mary, Florida, is contributing $30,000 to the Career Assistance Fund at Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach Campus. The fund provides financial support to students pursuing internships, cooperative education programs, interviews and other career-related opportunities.
Students may use the assistance for eligible expenses such as travel, temporary housing, transportation, professional attire and other costs associated with securing and participating in these experiences. The support can help ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent students from taking an important step toward their professional goals.
“Embry-Riddle has been a cornerstone of higher education and innovation in Volusia County for more than six decades, preparing generations of students to lead in aviation, aerospace and many other industries,” said Kevin Miller, president and CEO of Addition Financial Credit Union. “We are proud to begin this relationship by investing directly in students and helping them access experiences that can shape their careers. We hope this marks the beginning of a meaningful and lasting partnership between Addition Financial and the Embry-Riddle community.”

Addition Financial will also offer financial education workshops for Embry-Riddle students, faculty and staff. The sessions will provide practical information and resources designed to help members of the university community make informed financial decisions and build confidence in managing their money.
Celebrating its centennial in 2026, Embry-Riddle has been headquartered in Daytona Beach since 1965. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in aviation, engineering, business, security and the sciences, while giving students opportunities to gain hands-on experience through internships, co-ops, research, student organizations, competitions and flight training.
